Mission
To anchor deep national capabilities in artificial intelligence, creating social and economic impact, growing local talent, building the AI ecosystem, and putting Singapore on the world map. A national programme launched by the National Research Foundation, AISG brings together Singapore’s research institutions, start-ups, and companies to perform use-inspired research and translate AI into real-world impact.

2023: Co-launched the National Multimodal LLM Programme and the SEA-LION family of Southeast Asian language models
