Milestones

2024 (Jul): Joined forces with the OECD to form an integrated partnership under the GPAI brand (announced at the New Delhi Summit, 3-4 July 2024)

2020: Launched 15 June 2020 by 15 founding members (14 countries plus the EU)

Hosted at the OECD in Paris; supported by Expert Support Centres in Montreal (CEIMIA), Paris (Inria), and Tokyo (NICT)

Following the OECD integration the partnership initially brought together 44 OECD and GPAI countries; membership has since grown to about 46 countries plus the EU

Produces expert reports on responsible AI, data governance, future of work, and innovation
