Mission
Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) leads the nation's AI governance framework, developing guidelines and tools to help organizations deploy AI responsibly while promoting innovation.
Milestones
2024: Released the Model AI Governance Framework for Generative AI, addressing LLM and generative-AI risks (data quality, transparency, content provenance, security, safety/testing)
2023: Launched the AI Verify Foundation to maintain and develop the AI Verify testing framework
2022: Released AI Verify, the world's first AI governance testing framework and toolkit, with companion guides and sector use cases
2020: Released the second edition of the Model AI Governance Framework with updated implementation guidance
2019: Released Singapore's Model AI Governance Framework (first edition), positioning Singapore as a global leader in practical AI governance
